Introduction of “negura camp ground” site

Source: Official website
NEGURA CAMP GROUND is a campground that has just opened in 2021.It is still in the process of development and is expected to change for the better in the future.
Here are the camp sites as of now.
tsudoi site

Fuji, Suruga Bay, and night views.Vehicles are allowed.Open flame is allowed only in the installed open flame pit.
All grass sites.
Closest site to the administration building.

View from tsudoi site.
It has the best view, and is my personal recommendation.
mujina site

Fuji, Suruga Bay, and night views. Vehicles are allowed. Open flame is allowed only in the installed open flame pit.
This site is a little higher than the tsudoi site.
This site is also entirely covered with grass.

The circus TC being set up is my… lolThe circus TC being set up is my… lol

There is a trail that leads to the tsudoi site right near where I set up.
It was also easy to use the high-standard restrooms at the tsudoi site.
There is also a restroom at the mujina site, but this is a temporary restroom.
This will be introduced later!
View from mujina site.
From inside my tent…!
The night view from here was great!
komichi website

Fuji, but you can enjoy the view of Suruga Bay and the night view through the trees at this site. Vehicles are allowed here as well. Open flame is allowed on all sides.
I just looked at the komichi site from the mujina site.

The atmosphere was quite nice.
It looks beautiful with fresh greenery from spring to summer.

The view from the komichi site.
It is a great place to get together with friends and enjoy the woodland atmosphere and the night view.
The entire area is open to open flames, and everything was cleaned up (I almost didn’t know where the open flames were), making for a very comfortable stay.
kokage website

Wooded site on high ground, with a natural atmosphere. No vehicles allowed. Temporary parking in the unloading area is allowed. Open flame is allowed in all areas.
This kokage site has a completely different atmosphere.
It feels a bit like camping.
However, the bathroom is the furthest away, so it might have been tough for me to use the restroom.

This site can also be used as an unloading area.

View from the most apical site of the kokage site.

I have to climb this steep hill to get to the site ahead.
I don’t think my car can make the climb: ・・・・
For those who can’t make the climb, a rear car is always available.
After unloading, visitors are asked to park at the parking lot between the komichi and kokage sites.

5 attractions of “negura camp ground
Fuji, Suruga Bay, and night views.

NEGURA CAMP GROUND is a campground that completely shuts out the hustle and bustle of human life.
Under the bright blue sky, I guessed we were in the Numazu area. Suruga Bay in that cityscape, and Mt!and an unprecedentedly great view.
And after that, the night view!・・・・, no, there is another golden hour before that.
That is this beautiful sunset!
Then gradually the city lights come on and we enter the night view time.
The scenery is amazing at any time of the day…I can assure you that you will not feel motivated to do anything (laughs).

No cancellation fee and free early check-in!
You are looking forward to camping, but on the day of camping, something or some work suddenly comes up….Or your child suddenly becomes ill.
In such cases, you can cancel your reservation through the reservation page! There is no cancellation fee.
You can make a reservation without worrying that you will be forced to cram in time, rush to check in, and not be able to enjoy camping while you are sick….
Early check-in is also free! It’s “free”.
The hours will be from 10:00 a.m., so not before that time!
Even if you arrive a little earlier than planned, it is nice to be able to enter without having to wait until the time.
However, as we will explain later, there are some precautions to follow, so please follow the rules and use the facilities in a pleasant manner.
Hot water is available.

Cooking area at mujina site

Cooking area at tsudui site
When camping, one of the most troublesome tasks is washing dishes.
Especially in winter, cold water is a real pain.
Both cooking areas at the tsudoi and mujina sites have hot water!
And from all faucets! Now you can get rid of the suffering.
It can be used as drinking water, of course.
Can be used as drinking water, of course.

Open fire pits like this one are scattered around the tsudui and mujina sites.
Having an open fire gives a sense of camping and tickles the camping spirit.
NEGURA CAMP GROUND is a campground where you can enjoy an open fire, which is rare nowadays.
The tsudui and mujina sites have pre-installed open fire pits, while the komichi and kokage sites have open fires on all sides.

Relatively mild temperatures
One of the main reasons we chose “negura camp ground” this time is that it is a campground with a spectacular view and the temperature is relatively mild.
Weather forecast for tomorrow at “negura camp ground

Tomorrow’s weather forecast for Fumotohara Campsite

Tomorrow’s weather forecast by Hottarakashi Camping Field

It is much warmer than the temperatures at “Fumotoppara Campground,” famous for its Mt!
Kannami Town is located at the entrance to Izu and is relatively warm throughout the year, making it a recommended campground even in winter.

5 points to note about NEGURA CAMP GROUND
All trash is to be taken home.
All trash is to be taken home with you. It is a good idea to prepare several slightly thicker trash bags.
The roads in the campground are narrow.

The entrance to the campground is quite narrow, so be careful not to run into people checking out.
The road inside the campground is also narrow, so please drive very slowly!

No waiting for the previous night’s guests to clear out.
Early check-in is free of charge from 10:00 a.m., but it is strictly prohibited to wait for the previous night’s guests to clear out.

The manager’s chic arrangement shows the strength of his love for camping!
Be careful of the wind!

You may recognize the weather forecast above.

There is no obstruction and the sea breeze…it can be very windy at times.
I will keep an eye on this weather forecast and if the wind speed is up to 4 m/s, camping will be a go; if it exceeds 5 m/s, I will consider camping. ・・・・
If it exceeds 6m/s to 7m/s, I will give up camping unless there is something wrong.(This is a personal judgment, so please use it only as a reference.)
We are dealing with nature, and today’s forecast may change tomorrow.
We are very grateful to “negura camp ground” for accepting cancellations free of charge even in such a case.
*But we hope you will make a decision as soon as possible. There may be some fierce campers who want to camp even in strong winds.
Rules for ash dumping

A pail for dumping ashes is located just to the left of the entrance to the tsudoi site.
Each person may take this pail to his/her own site and scoop the ashes, then return the pail to this site.
It is very helpful that you do not have to prepare your own container for ash disposal.
Facilities at NEGURA CAMP GROUND
Administration building

Walking up from the entrance, you will find the administration building here.
Walking up the path beside it, you will find the sites spread out.

When I came to the front of the administration building…there was this sign.
A staff member arrived at 3:00 p.m. and we paid the fee.
Here you can buy CB cans, OD cans, original stickers of “negura camp ground” and other original products.
You can also buy firewood by weight for 120 yen/kg, and according to the Internet and friends, it seems to have a good reputation for burning well. I had brought my own, so I could not experience it….
Even if the staff is gone after 6:00 p.m., you can still purchase firewood for a fixed price of 1,000 yen, so you don’t have to worry if you run out of firewood….

Toilet

Toilet in mujina site.
It was a temporary toilet, but very clean and odorless.
Separate toilets for men and women. No heated toilet seats or bidet.

Toilets at the TSUDOI site.
This is a very high standard toilet.
This one has a heated toilet seat and a bidet.
Future of “negura camp ground
We have asked the staff about the future evolution plans of “negura camp ground”.
Toilets
The restrooms at the mujina site are currently temporary toilets, but they are scheduled to be converted to high-standard toilets similar to those at the tsudoi site.
The restrooms at the mujina site will be used frequently by visitors to the komichi and kokage sites, so we are very grateful for their use.
Shower building
It is not clear if it will be ready by this summer, but it seemed that a shower building is planned to be constructed at the tsudoi site.

This is also especially appreciated by drinkers who want to drink immediately after arrival, especially in the summer (laughs).
…and the addition of a dog-run site.
Right now, we are secretly? They are in the process of building a dog run site.
I look forward to seeing how this one turns out in the future.
summary
The campground we visited this time, “negura camp ground,” is sure to impress you with its spectacular view of Suruga Bay, Mt.
Furthermore, the campground is located near the entrance of Izu, so it is relatively warm even in winter without snow.
On this day, the temperature dropped to 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the morning, but it did not go below freezing like other campgrounds.
And although the rules of the campground seemed rather liberal and loose compared to other campgrounds, there were many campers who behaved properly, which may be due to the atmosphere of “negura camp ground”.
The campground will be opened in 2021, and they are planning to add a dog run site, shower building, and other facilities, as well as upgrading the toilets and water facilities to a higher standard, so I am looking forward to seeing more campgrounds in the future!
We hope this will be of some help to those who are interested in visiting “negura camp ground” in Kannami, Shizuoka Prefecture!
