Hello UL campers! I would like to introduce the Evernew Ti.ULPot 600, a titanium lightweight cooker that I often use, mainly for backpacking solo and duo outdoor activities. I would recommend this product to both beginning and long-time outdoor enthusiasts.

Lightweight Cooker Ti.ULPot600 Specifications
Size in Diameter | 124mm |
Depth | 52mm |
weight | 95g |
Size | 600ml |
I actually measured the diameter and depth was due to the inside diameter. For your reference. Also, as for the weight, it was 93g.LOL, I’ve used it so much that it even has soot on it, but it’s a happy miscalculation that it’s below the manufacturer’s description.
The handle has a silicone tube, which does not melt so much even if it is directly exposed to fire.
Recently, Evernew has released a product in which only the tube is sold separately (perhaps because some users thought the red tube was tacky?)) I’m rather attached to the red color, which has some parts that are almost melted.
Also, 200ml and 400ml are also indicated in this way. I am not particularly conscious of using them, but since coffee, soup, instant miso soup, etc. are generally 160 ml, and ramen noodles in a bag are generally 450 ml, I think they can be used as a guide to some extent.
The spout is excellent, and it may serve as a large cup with a spout for family campers and others who bring guts and equipment.
Why I use my lightweight cooker Ti.ULPot600
It must be a lightweight flat pot with the perfect capacity and size.
Cookers in the outdoor scene can be roughly divided into the following categories
- Pot type (deep cooker)
- Pot type
- Frying pan mold
I think they can be divided into these three categories.
When I am outdoors in UL style, I sometimes carry a titanium mug as a cooker, but from the standpoint of cooking versatility, I feel that a pot-type cooker offers a very good balance of ease of use and fuel consumption, which I will describe later.
The 600 ml capacity is excellent, and can cook bagged ramen, oden bought at convenience stores or supermarkets, and Ma Ma’s quick-cooking pasta, among others.
Incidentally, I also use it when I eat chicken ramen at home.
Lightness is justice.A full 600 ml of water and weighing less than 100 g is a huge advantage for those of us who do outdoor activities with a backpack. A similar pot-type cooker with a similar capacity is the Ti 570, also from Evernew.
I often take my Ti 570 with me when I go into the mountains, and I use it a lot when I want to do simple cooking in camp, or when I want to relax while eating.
It also has a solid handle, and as a pot, it weighs less than 100 grams, which I think is not often seen from other manufacturers.
Hot water comes up quickly. One of the advantages of pot and pan type cookers is that the water comes up quickly. The area that receives heat is larger than that of a pot-type cooker, which means that heat conduction is more efficient.
In addition, one of the characteristics of the TI.ULPot series is that the pots are made as thin as 0,3 mm. This is a point that contributes greatly to combustion efficiency and, consequently, fuel savings.
If you keep the wind out of the way exactly, you will find that even if you are using a direct burner (SOTO Windmaster, TOAKS alcohol stove, etc.), you will find that the water will come up faster. Also, this may be an aside, but the heat retention efficiency with a toro fire is very much better than with Pot-type titanium products.
This may also be a benefit of its thinness of 0.3 mm. It demonstrates the strength of the division in such scenes as keeping oden hot or stewing vegetables to a pulp.
Example of stacking lightweight cooker Ti.ULPot600
From here on out, it’s all about my stacking addiction.
For alcohol stove
SEA TO SUMMIT X-mesh mug
MUNIEQ X-MESH STOVE L size, as a windshield and a pot
TOAKS folding spoke
*Evernew alcohol bottle 60ml
*Home-made alcohol stove
*Carbon felt to prevent damage to the ground
MUNIEQ leather pad to prevent burns
*Evernew Stack Dish as a lid, and also as a plate.
These are stacked. This is my sticking point! I’m not sure if it’s a good idea or not, but it’s a good point,
The 60ml bottle of EVANU alcohol, when filled to the brim, holds about 80ml, which should be enough to carry for a two day/one night trip.
Also, I don’t use ready-made lids myself, because the X-mesh mugs and the MUNIEQ pentode don’t fit into them.
The Evernew Stack dish makes a great lid, a simple plate to put edamame, salami, potatoes, etc. on, a lid for stacking, a lid for boiling water, and it fits very well. Above all, Ti.ULPot600 works very well with short cutlery due to its pot-shaped characteristics.
While short cutlery such as folding sporks are easy to stack, pot-type cookers seem to be incompatible with them, as they are deep and difficult to reach. In this regard, the 52mm inner diameter depth makes the pot very easy to use in terms of not having to choose cutlery.
The fact that it is not cramped with foldable or short cutlery is a big advantage when spending time relaxing.
For OD cans
※Primus P-116 Femto Stove
*110 OD can
Leather pad of MUNIEQ
TOAKS spokes
*Evernew Stack Dish
This is just changing the above heat source to a gas can, but by using a stack dish as a lid, it can be stacked tightly. This is a form of taking advantage of the benefits of gas burners, which are less susceptible to wind and environmental conditions and more stable and easy to use.
Ti.ULPot600 may not be suitable for these people.
People who want to cook over an open fire, etc.
In terms of thermal efficiency, titanium cookers are inferior to iron and aluminum cookers. To begin with, the properties of titanium make it difficult to heat and easy to cool.
The temperature of a fire in a campfire is lower than that of a blue flame such as that of a gas or alcohol stove, so it is difficult to keep the cooker warm to a certain degree at the temperature of the cooker itself, such as iron or aluminum. This makes it necessary to keep the cooker constantly lit.
It is not suitable for that kind of cooking, relaxing over an open fire.
People who want to cook foods that need to be cooked thoroughly, such as grilling and stir-frying.
The same goes for uncoated aluminum cookers and other cookers, but titanium cookers are not suitable for grilling or stir-frying.
I wondered why it was not suitable for baking and stir-frying once. I once dared to try stir-frying at home, but I realized that even if the cooker itself is warm, it cannot transfer that warmth to the food. If the cooker cannot cook food while maintaining the temperature of the food and the moisture of the vegetables, baking and stir-frying are not possible,
I think that titanium cookers, not only Ti600, specialize in boiling, simmering, steaming, and other methods that make use of the moisture in the cooker.
Conclusion
Although the range of cooking is limited, as a backpacking outdoorsman myself, I find this cooker to be very versatile in terms of lightness, capacity, and ease of use.
I highly recommend this cooker for those who want to cook outside for a while and want to relax in nature with lightweight equipment. If you want to check more info about UL gears, don’t miss here!
